Tommy Neck, Owner
At the age of 12, Tommy push-mowed his first lawn. He quickly noticed he liked the work and the extra cash. By the time he was 16 he had acquired a few customers and worked on the weekends with his small lawn care service. During this time Tommy developed his knack for business and his eye for plants. By the time he was out of high school he had 2 employees and had grown his lawncare service into a full-time business.
Tommy went on to develop his knowledge of plants and landscaping during college and received his landscaping and horticulture license (#3747) in 2000. Tommy is very creative, and his favorite thing about his job is designing beds. To stay on top of the latest in available plants and products he attends landscaping conventions at least once a year.
Through various projects he has acquired impressive resume of outdoor structures and construction projects. He added an irrigation contractor license in 2009 (#0442). His creative touch allows him to turn drainage problems into beautiful and creative landscaping.
NorthPro works with all types of landscaping features. The company has built over 100 goldfish ponds and numerous pergolas, retention walls, and creative hardscaping. NorthPro only uses plants that are specific to Louisiana and gets his flowers from nurseries all over the South. NorthPro is one of the largest lawn care services in the Monroe/West Monroe area.

Working with landscape architect Julie Coon’s drawings, Tommy and his crew turned the drawing into reality. The work included hardscape, new beds, many plants and trees and new sod. The professionalism and attention to detail was truly inspiring. Tommy’s involvement with our project helped to answer all the questions that we had as homeowners. Tommy was free with his ideas and receptive to changes. NorthPro’s crew chief Jared, notified us each morning of the progress that they hoped to make each day.
